Digital Distribution

So, here's the deal:

YOU KEEP ALL THE RIGHTS TO YOUR FILMS.
You just lend us the right to digitally distribute your film to legitimate digital download outlets.
You must sign the agreement for each film you are selling.

We keep 20% and pay you 80% of all income from your film. NO additional hidden fees or exceptions. NO recurring fees.
For digital sales through the Film Baby store, you will be paid with your normal weekly checks.
For third party services, You always get paid the week after we do. Most services pay us monthly. Some quarterly.

NO startup costs. This is a 100% free service. You just have to be a Film Baby member with your work for sale on filmbaby.com.
Your film needs to have a valid barcode. If you don't have one already we can make you one for $25.

You can stop at any time - with 30 days' notice. We will never tie up your rights or make it hard for you to leave.

You sign our agreement, giving us the right to provide your film to legitimate services.
Once we get your film into our offices, we will handle all the encoding for the downloading services.
Your film will then be able to be downloaded about 24 hours after it is up and selling in the store.

Once we get your film, we encode it into the MP4 format for sale on our site. We can not accept pre-encoded content.
We submit a perfect Digital Copy of your film to our partners.
We pay you, as always for sales resulting from these programs.
Some films may not be accepted into certain third party retailers because of content restrictions with our partner companies.

To give us legal permission to include your film in our promotional distribution program you must own or control the copyright for the motion picture and have secured all the rights for the locations, music, actors, script, etc.
YOU HAVE obtained any and all necessary rights, clearances and permissions to distribute the Programming, including, any and all clearances and permissions necessary for each of the participants in the Programming to play in and/or appear in the Programming, including without limitation, any required clearances or permissions from any regulatory, governing or organizing body.
YOU HAVE obtained any and all necessary rights, clearances and permissions to distribute the Programming, including securing all music master, mechanical, and synchronization rights as necessary for music played during the Programming.
YOU HAVE obtained any and all necessary rights, clearances and permissions to distribute the Programming, including any and all rights, clearances and permissions necessary to use all names, likenesses, trademarks and service marks of all teams, individuals and entities participating in or otherwise associated with the Programming.
